First and foremost, Vitamin D is not a vitamin – but a steroid hormone. It is not as critical to the immune system as we have been led to believe. In synthetic form, D labeled as cholecalciferol, it depletes essential micro nutrients and disrupts the endocrine system.

What is a person to do? It is proven through lab work – that if a person takes Cod Liver Oil as their source of Vitamin D they will have a healthy range on a Hydroxy Vitamin-D lab bloodwork test. (Not that my mentor, Dr. Monzo, puts much stock in such a test.) As a whole food the human body recognizes cod liver oil and knows how to metabolize it.
What we really need is Retinol A – not Vit. D.
Written chemically as C27H44O or (3S,5Z,7E)-9,10-Secocholesta-5,7,10-trien-3-ol, cholecalciferol is also known as calciol or Vitamin D3. We have been led to believe Vit. D is essential for immune health, when in fact, according to Dr. Alphonzo Monzo, and Morely Robins, author of “Cu-re Your Fatigue”, Retinol A and copper are key immune system drivers.
