Why Chemical Overload Should Not Be Overlooked
(For your own health as well as that of the unborn.)

Over 212 chemicals are found in human tissue of one person – what does the body do with this? It has to process, try to expel, figure it out – chemical STRESS!! The result is a compromised immune system. These chemicals mimic estrogen – which drives cancer, interrupt the endocrine system...which drives cancer, create hormone imbalances…which drives cancer, in other words – chemical overload causes cancer!
This was just ONE of the highlights from a podcast interview in the 2015 Truth About Cancer summit - the discussion - Dirty Dozen - The Top Environmental Toxins That Causes Cancer. From the entire list, the one we as consumers have the most control over - is the toxins we put on our skin, through our choice of skincare, make up, shampoo, hair dye, and sunscreen.
Purely Living Wellness has a number of articles regarding the chemicals we are exposed to under the educational tab of our website, but I want to share with you some additional statistics which are quite alarming...
Yes, the last bullet point needed to be emphasized - it should be a wake up call for all of us. Are you pregnant? Whom do you know that is? We all know that what you eat, and your lifestyle (whether you drink or smoke), directly affects an unborn baby's health. But not once, when I was pregnant years ago, was I warned that what I put on my skin could affect the health of my baby. When we provide bio-energetic testing on clients whom we know are trying to start a family, we look at lifestyle choices and encourage women, and the potential father, to clean up their chemical exposure as much as possible. This includes fewer trips to the beauty salon and product aisle.
I learned several years ago that if my, or my husband's hormones, were out of balance during conception or during pregnancy, especially lack of the progestation hormone - progesterone - that it could affect the brain development of an unborn child. There is MUCH to consider during pregnancy. Not only eating healthy, but choosing pure and safe skincare, shampoo, deodorant, in addition to proper nutrition and avoiding exposure to fumes, lawn chemicals, toxic cleaners, and more.
Chemical Body Burden organization states, "Of the approximately 80,000 chemicals that are used in the United States, we do not know how many can become a part of our chemical body burden, but we do know that several hundred of these chemicals have been measured in people's bodies around the world."
So what is your chemical burden? And whom might you be passing that chemical burden on to?
Purely Living Wellness offers a stand-alone bio-energetics scan to help determine your toxic load. If this is a concern for you, please get in touch with us today.

- Average person urinates 7 pesticides each time they urinate.
- Average woman absorbs 2 lbs of cosmetic sludge through their skin each year, per Dr. Keith Scott Mumby
- Recent report revealed that 10 newborn infants had umbilical cord blood analyzed, and found 287 chemicals in the blood, of which 208 are carcinogenic!!
