Sweet Avocado Dressing
This is a sweeter version of avocado dressing than the bLIMEy dressing. Using the Ninja IQ blender it was so easy to make. A "bullet" or similar would work well, too, no doubt.
In a blender cup/container add the following in this order:
1 ripe avocado - pit removed and scoop into the cup
1 small lime, juice only (this helps maintain the green color of the dressing)
1 green onion, cut into 2 inch sections
1/2 Braeburn organic apple, include peel
2 Tomatilos, remove outside paper-like sheath and place whole in blender cup
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2 Tablespoons organic extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1-2 Tablespoons raw honey
1/4 cup Silk original almond milk
Screw blender blade assembly to blender jar, invert and blend until smooth. Start with one tablespoon of honey and add more until desired sweetness.
May substitute pear for the apple. Use organic when including the skins. Seeds from organic pear and apple are safe to incllude if your blender can pulverize so they are not noticed in this creamy dressing. May add additional almond milk if dressing is too thick for your desired preference.
Makes apprioximantly one pint of dressing. Store in mason jar with lid for up to two weeks.
