Somatic Movement
I learned about Somatic movement and healing through a group a Aleph Tav Body Restore practitioners that I am a part of. Teresa Ojinma. is one of our ATB practitioners, and as well is an instructor of Somatic Movement. She provides education and movement videos on YouTube to guide you through the steps and benefits of each stretch, from the comfort of your home. The link to her Home Fitness Plus channel: https://youtube.com/@homefitnessplus2385?si=Jg-WRD_qiGMT-BV3
Because movement is so important, for your convenience I am providing the link to Teresa's videos.
The first video provides you a background of somatic movement, and the second is a testimony from a woman who can't recall the last time she used her cane. Following are stretches that you can do in your home. I would recommend use of a yoga mat or something similar for comfort, and have a rolled up towel available. Review the videos through before starting, so you can see how to proceed, and then listen while going through each movement.
