Keto Diet and Lyme

The Keto Diet is all the rage, but is it the right diet for you?
Learn why it may not be a good choice if Lyme is silently hidden in your body.
Recently, I forwarded an article by the Medical Medium regarding Keto to this business page.  He may not be spot on but he does make some good points. My greatest concern with Keto is the emphases on animal meat protein – not 2-3 oz. of steak twice a week, but from my understanding – you can enjoy a fat, juicy steak every day if you want to.
 
One of my mentors and trainers in bio-resonance is a neurologist with another PhD in parasites, specializing in Lyme. I learned MUCH from Dr. Gail, including that the Lyme parasite lie dormant, and they morph into strains to avoid being killed off by anti-biotics that may be given to the body. They await an opportune time to become active once again. Lyme loves a compromised immune system.  When one starts the Keto diet there is a risk of reawakening the Lyme in the body. I learned from my mentor that Lyme parasites feed on hard to digest animal proteins. Red meat is the most difficult protein to digest. A small amount of red meat will take the body 8 hours to digest, as opposed to fish which digests in approximately 4 hours. Lyme also loves collagen, which is why the areas most affected are joints, heart and brain.
 
It is important to be aware that Lyme is likely the most undiagnosed, or mis-diagnosed dis-ease we have today. And it is a global health threat – it is not merely affecting those in wooded areas, because Lyme is carried by ALL biting insects…spiders, mosquitoes, etc. Personally, when I see people walking around with no spare fat on their body, I think of my late husband's body - wasting away. Muscle wasting is what happens when Lyme is actively "eating away" from the inside.  I believe that cachexia, the term used for cancer patients wasting away, is undiagnosed Lyme actively taking place in the body. Many believe my husband died of late-stage cancer, but he did not. A friend recommended we see a bio-resonance practitioner in Illinois, and it is because of this that we learned my husband had advanced Lyme disease. It is important to mention that this doctor used an Asyra, which is the predecessor to the Quest4 that I now use. We had had appointments with a local ND that used a different bio-resonance system and Lyme had not been brought up in our three visits.
 
​When we returned to Madison and I requested a Lyme test, the oncologist’s reply was “that’s just the way chronic disease rolls” – there was no interest in looking for a root cause to my husband’s fading health – despite intense nutritional protocols.  Ultimately, my husband died of a collapsed lung and I truly believe medications played a role, after reading the full disclosure on the meds after his passing.
 
My passion is to educate and empower people. A healthy immune system is KEY to keeping Lyme and all pathogens at bay. Our bodies cannot keep up with all they are exposed to in today’s toxic environments.  Bio-resonance is a great tool to have in your proactive health tool bag.
