WOW! I could handle life less full right now. Busy is good, but I could stand to chillax a bit too. Here is what I have been up to...

I just returned from Oklahoma City where I attended an Arbonne leadership retreat hosted by ENVP Linda Parker. It was spiritually uplifting, just what I needed. Linda is so gracious at having us each year...but that said - to the left is a picture of myself and Cecelia Stoll, who is at at the very very top of my upline. I had never had a picture with her before, but on Sunday several of us attended her church in Norman called North Church. It was like my local Blackhawk Church on steroids - and the message spoke right to our hearts.

I felt Jesse's presence there...so I guess this year he was able to come with me. As I listened to Arbonne consultants sharing their stories of retiring their 30 something husbands so they could be present in their children's lives, and live their own dreams...I was happy for them but sad on what we missed out on together. So for those of you growing your Arbonne business with "bring daddy home" dreams - DON'T WAIT. Our tomorrows are never guaranteed.

I was so grateful to hang out with the most amazing group of women and have their support.

The home remodel has us in a chaotic turmoil...but I feel there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Girlfriends helped to paint the kitchen and hall this past Friday night. I so look forward to completion and having friends over for vegan culinary nights, perhaps tea with some of Abby's favorite teachers, etc.

I had a great experience using the Qest4 to check my own respiratory bug...followed through on what it suggested I take...somewhat. It was a respiratory supplement made by Natural Solutions in Georgia. Renee was kind enough to send me a catalog which shows ingredients in each capsule, which is drank as a tea. I could take the catalog to the Community Pharmacy and find my own tinctures to complete my own tea. And WOW - did it pack a clearing punch - with ginseng, essential ginger and and peppermint oils, and schizandara herb, which I had not heard of before. Some friends also had succumbed and the blend worked wonders for them.

In less than 10 days I head to Georgia for advanced Qest4 training - and I am so looking forward to advancing my skills to serve my clients more effectively. I hope to feel confident in providing surrogate long distance scans thereafter, as I have friends waiting for the service.

Brain Inflammation and Losing a Pound a Day!

I received an SOS call from my sister in law in Pennsylvania today. A family friend has been having serious health issues since having his amalgam fillings removed a short time ago. It is so important to have a certified biological dentist, and there are few in this country. I am not sure of the credentials of the practicing dentist in this case, but want to point out the importance to avoid what could be dire results with mercury poisoning. If this is the case, fast action is required.

Symptoms this person is experiencing includes ticks, brain inflammation, muscle wasting (losing a pound a day!) and health is failing fast, with atrophy expected. The doctor wants to do a muscle biopsy, smart idea, but insurance won't approve the test. Nor will they approve a mercury toxicity test. How unfortunate!

The person was also involved in a FDA approved testing of which an implant was put into his brain...a prescription. I don't remember the why and what for...but of course this is highly suspect. That said, all the symptoms seemed to have immediately started after having the amalgam fillings removed. The dangers of mercury based amalgam fillings may be found here.

I also suggested Lyme's disease testing as the symptoms match up for this as well, as my husband had had this and I can relate to what is being described to me. (The Asyra system picked this up very late in his cancer journey.)

I went to my trusted source, board certified neurosurgeon Russel Blaylock, my go to for any issue relating to the brain. If you know of anyone experiencing the symptoms above here is the list of helpful resources I have found.

With all of this information, if I were to suffer from mercury poisoning, I would start with a nutritional cleanse as outlined in the Arbonne 30 Day Program. Dr.Joe Mercola also describes this in his article on mercury toxicity removal protocol: Mercola writes: "Your goal is to remove inflammatory and allergenic foods such as sugar (especially fructose/HFCS), processed and packaged foods, fast foods, most starch and grain. Your diet should be low in carbohydrates, moderate-to-low in protein, and high in beneficial fats (as high as 50-70 percent). Proteins repair mangled protein molecules and supply sulfur, and fats repair your cell membranes. This type of diet not only prepares your body for detoxification, but also has the additional benefit of improving your insulin sensitivity and reversing type 2 diabetes."

In week 2 I would utilize an organ cleanse to flush out the liver and kidneys. (Arbnone makes a 7 day detox product with broken cell chlorella - which proved to be very effective in removing trace metals for my husband according the DNA hair testing toxicity panel we had done.) I would use this for 7 days straight in this case, as the package directs. By day four I would start taking two capsules of activated black charcoal at bedtime.

Boosting glutithione levels is crucial. Fish, particularly salmon, is a dietary source to boost production...but that said, obviously one needs to ELIMINATE ALL INTAKE OF MERCURY when suffering from mercury poisoning. Any food source harvested from the ocean needs to be avoided.

Whey protein is well known as a source to boost glutithione, but vegans celebrate!! The number one boost for glutithione production is MILK THISTLE. Until I wrote this post, I was not aware it is number one - on a list by a whey advocate, Dr. Josh Axe. It helps me to understand why Arbonne formulates with Milk Thistle in a number of products, including the Essentials Anti Oxidant Immunity Booster._

For any type of brain inflammation I highly suggest curcumin as a supplement. There are numerous studies supporting the benefits. A recent article published on my facebook business wall touts the benefits of B-95 found in curcumin. The link is to Life Extension brand, of which I receive no compensation.

If you experience serious symptoms such as the story that is unfolding in my sister in law's life, I urge you to find a clinic/technician with a Asyra or Qest4 bio-signature scanning system to help learn what is going on at a cellular level within the body.

On Fasting and Lent

In a few days, on Wednesday, the season of Lent begins for many who are a part of mainstream church organizations. Many will GIVE UP some thing...usually a food - such as alcohol, sugar, coffee, and the ever popular ...chocolate.

A word of caution...fasting can be detrimental to one's health, especially if there is a pre-existing condition. Make sure you are healthy enough to fast.

The point of fasting is not to give something up, per say, but to give something to God. Personally, I think He would rather have more of my time than have me give up a food group. I can go through 40 days of the "elimination diet" - but having done a nutritional cleanse several times a year, it is more about me, and my health. It is not about God. Yes, it is good for my physically, but it doesn't necessary bring God into my life more unless I ask Him to personally take away cravings, and eliminate temptations, or pray for the commitment to remain in the face of a celebratory situation. Know what I mean?

This Lent I have no doubt what God wants of me. He has been asking me for it for a while now...and it requires of me to slow down and make space in my day to day for Him. I'm not talking about a 5 minute bed time prayer, or 60 second "wake up and thank God for the goodness in my day ahead", nor praying for and over others. It's between He and I. But I do need to let my children know where they can find me if necessary.

Give God some of your space this Lent! It will be good for your soul and spirit!

Well Water, Home Access & Proposed Sundance Development in Cross Plains, Wisconsin

Last night I attended a Village of Cross Plains board meeting, which is not on my very hot list of "to dos". Previously my husband would attend and keep "an eye on things". You see, our one acre of country paradise resides in Berry township, adjacent to the Village of Cross Plains, Wisconsin.

For the past ten years a developer, All Star Properties, has been aiming to develop the farmland that lies to our north and on the hill behind our home. As we are perched on a steep incline, any thoughts of widening the narrow country road to accommodate traffic flow would greatly hinder the ability for my family to access our home, if the developed roadway were to remove land from my side of the property line. On a blizzard like day as I write this, ascending our driveway is next to impossible...and would only be worse if we could not take a "run at it".

Indeed, many many years ago, when the paved road was first brought through the country lane of origin, the road was not built along property center lines, but completely on my grandfather's land, as is evidenced by the fact that I now pay meager village property tax to the village for land I own on my neighbor's property across the road. How much more is this family to give up for the sake of progress?

I brought up my concern for accessing my home, and was assured by the village that residents along Brewery Rd. would not be hindered by access to their homes. This is "nice" to hear, although I would like to see this in writing by both the village and the developer, who, as a developer, is always going to be more concerned with his bottom line than those he would inconvenience along the path of making huge profit - no blame there, that is just the way it is. Are you familiar with the story of David and Goliath? Yep....

So I will wait to see what engineering feats will be brought forth...perhaps they will be raising the entire road bed...word of retaining walls were mentioned. I abhor the thought of heavy traffic flow whizzing by my peaceful country setting...no doubt of which the sounds of engines roaring down the big hill at speed limit breaking paces (as is done now by the few who live on top) break the tranquility I experience in the back yard of Jesse's Oasis. Will peaceful morning bible study's come to an end in pleasant weather?

Yet another concern is the run off from residents on top of the hill obsessed with having dandelion-free yards. I almost scoffed out loud when the engineer stated that the swales they plan to install to filter rain water will actually be more safe for the treasured Black Earth Creek than the current agricultural use of crop farming. I grew up on a farm...my dad sprayed (unfortunately) 1-2x a year. Yes, nasty stuff...no denying.

But no less nasty are the lawn chemicals people use weekly, or at minimum monthly. I cringe every time I see Chem-lawn vehicles parked. One hundred and forty-two homes when all is said and down...that will be no small amount of herbacide and pesticide contamination taking place in my backyard. Lawn chemicals are huge contributor to the rise of cancers, Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, and other neurological disease...not to mention harmful run off for the wildlife utilizing the treasured creek. Board certified neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock has written extensively on this subject.

As long as the Black Earth Watershed organization is satisfied with the filtering abilities of swales to protect the creek I will accept the theory. But WHAT IF, just like the plan to mandate that homes be built of value no less than $350,000 to $420,000 in order to insure property tax income for the village - there is a mandate for a sub-division to utilize only ORGANIC lawn care management practices? What a novel idea, eh? Oh to make the world a better place in which to live, and for our children to grow up in... If there were such a neighborhood rule, it would be worthy of national headline news... take note developers!!!

On a good note it was stated that the four residences on the west side of Brewery Road would not be forced to annex into the village. Which is another big concern - I have absolutely no desire to be forced upon municipal water systems containing fluoride and chlorine (which together make up a halide that block iodine pathways in the body and contribute to thyroid dysfunction - per thyroid function expert Dr. David Brownstein). We have very good well water - as is evidenced by the lower toxicity levels in our body's of nitrates (yes, we monitor this). Nitrate/nitrites from farm chemicals is often common among ag surrounded well water. I will have concern for my well, however, with the green space on the hill above our well, taking on nasty levels of lawn chemicals.

Our hill directly behind our home has been non-farmed for over ten years. At least we don't have lead in our water - municipal water systems are not as safe as people are led to believe. I have no desire to fear taking a shower because of the harmful chemicals added by misinformed muncipalities on the truths behind water treatment.
