Today I finally "played" with my entire new set of Solfeggio weightless tuning forks by Omnivos. When starting out with these forks it is recommended to listen to each tuning fork, by each ear, going through all nine. This took me approximately 10 minutes. As I held the tuning fork by my right ear - I offered a gratitude for someone or something in my life. Then I struck the tuning fork again once it became quiet, and held it by my left ear saying a prayer for that person. The sound from the tuning fork will actually last longer than it takes to offer gratitude or say a prayer, in most cases.
According to Michael from Omniovos, for complete sound therapy, you want to repeat the process, using each fork by each ear, for a total of three passes through all nine. I imagine the intent is to quiet your mind and absorb the frequencies to experience healing, rather than be thinking through gratitudes and prayers. I did not have a half hour this morning for myself to do two more complete passes, but certainly would like to work the time into my day tomorrow. Michael recommends the practice of sound therapy daily for most effectiveness.

The Omnivos forks come in a nice suede-like pouch, but personally, I want to scout out a nice block of wood in the woodshop, drill holes that would allow me to set each of these nine forks into it with the fork ends pointing skyward - which would make access much easier.
In the image above I have pulled out the 396 hz tuning fork - this is a great fork to use for sound therapy when dealing with grief. I have a client coming to see me for a bio-energetic scan, who also lost a pet recently - and I want to use the tuning forks on her to see if they are helpful to her.
Emotions running high? Solfeggio 396 hz is an excellent sound to listen to when dealing with emotional unrest, grief, anxiety, angst - which may be great intentional self-care in this electrically charged high emotion week of elections. You can find Solfeggio 396 hz on youtube - I prefer the Solfeggio sounds provided by Meditative Mind.
Check out this video by Michael from Omnivos on how to start out using Solfeggio tuning forks. Another hertz that is quite nice to have is 444 - not a part of Solfeggio, but powerful. Michael can make you a 444 hz tuning fork - just ask him. If you tell him you heard it from Rita Shimniok it will make his day.
In peace, love and light,
Rita S.
