Summer vacations, cruises - don't let your fun plans be shattered by sickness. Especially if you are flying or in crowds of many at summer festivals! We live in a time when immune systems are the weakest they have ever been. There are environmental reasons for that, and being in close proximity to a lot of people is like rolling the dice. If you are a frequent reader of my blog or articles you already know what I am talking about. The smart way to approach a vacation is to build your immune system ahead of time. If you already eat well and take supplements, that is all well and good - but I advise extra immune boosting prior to departure. I add 4Life transfer factors into my usual routine. The TriFactor formula is my regular go to, but if you have a compromised immune system please consider the ultimate flagship product - Transfer Factor Plus. This summer I will be going on my first cruise. Prior to departure I am boosting my immune system with Restore CVA+ (a energetic imprint that Purely Living provides), 4Life transfer factors, Azure Well Core Copper, Cod Liver Oil, Fulvic Humic minerals and a whole food multi vitamin. For the trip I will be packing minimal supplements - focusing on immune system since a cruise ship is packed with 1000s, many who may be shedders of active viruses through vax. In my carry on I will be taking my copper, Retinol A, transfer factors, COVX Immune Blend tincture that I have formulated - which contains shikimic acid from white pine, dandelion and star anise, as well as Restore CVA drops. Collagen is going along to benefit my joints for the extended walking and hikes, and I will be packing Exia - just in case. I am also my travel partner and myself frequency patches for motion sickness. | It sounds like cold and flu season, or pneumonia, is starting early this year. Even before school! First, every household should have a non portable style nebulizer. I have preached this so many times! When you are in serious need of a nebulizer, and you don't have it, basically you're screwed. I have always recommended that you test it out when you're healthy, so that you understand how it works. It is important that you understand how to place medicine in the receptor, and if you are making a DIY solution - have all ingredients gathered in one bin with the nebulizer. Have printed instructions with the device, so that if you are the one ill, a family member or a friend can make it up for you. For a chest rub I have found Secret Gardens menthol rub called Exia is phenomenal. Although I understand slathering your chest with mustard can help in a pinch! I offer these rubs at $18 for a 2 oz container. A little goes a long ways and I have a few in stock. Please let me know if you are interested. Our PMA members have full access to a PDF with detailed instructions on how to prepare and have your nebulizer ready. If you would like to know where to shop for the needed items to quickly self-treat at home at the first sign of symptoms - please check out a previous blog post. As summer progresses I hope you are managing to remain well. Friends are reporting getting sick, and I thought I should remind readers about the importance of preparedness. We are entering a time in history where more people will become ill than ever before as the onslaught of weaponized pathogens increases. Sadly, this truth is so little realized. Please be proactive and stay well! Rita S. |
