On this memorial day I am always humbled and grateful for the freedoms that I enjoy because of the sacrifices others have made. Especially this year my heart and prayers go out to those who have lost loved ones in the Vietnam war...perhaps not physically lost...maybe they have PTSD, or a disorder from exposure to Agent Orange, and the list could go on. On this 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War I encourage all to take some moments for silence today to express your gratitude. Amidst sorrow and grief there is an emptiness, but there is also thankfulness for what God is doing in my own journey, and I pray that for those who have lost a soldier, that they also feel His presence working in their lives.
