I read a church catch phrase...
Love God.
Love People.
Love Life.
What's missing? Who is missing? My first thought was...well, what about Jesus.
There are many who love God but have not accepted Jesus for their salvation. Even more sad are those who believe in God, but not Satan. Oh easily they are deceived by false practices!! Only Jesus can reveal the Truth between light and darkness. He has authority over all dominions!
It can be easy to love most people, but sometimes - it is really difficult. Especially to forgive those that have hurt you, and to truly love - you have to wish them into heaven vs the pits of hell. The only way I have found to overcome this is through the power of Jesus and knowing that He not only died for me, but for ALL people. To truly love people, including yourself - you need to forgive or it festers and makes you spiritually ill, and maybe even physically sick.
Loving life. Well, Facebook is all about that isn't it? Happy smiling faces, cute kids (hopefully shared privately), happy memories. Not too many people share their darkest moments in life...a few do. Life is not always easy, in fact, I would venture to say the journey has more downs than ups because of the fallen world we live in. If I were not a believer of Jesus, trusting Him and knowing Him personally...this life would have been unbearable at times. I am grateful every day for His active presence and the peace my heart feels because I know how much I am loved. And so are you.
