More often than one would think I see friends on Facebook sharing that they have shingles...yet again! Recently when I friend expressed her dismay, I was tagged by a mutual friend to help out. I ended up writing paragraphs of suggestions on how to overcome the virus more quickly.

For example, lemon balm, a lovely herb that can be grown in the midwest, contains flavonoids that help to reduce the effects of herpes zoster viruses in the body. It would be my go-to if I were to ever get shingles again, although I have not had a recurrence in over 5 years, and I really do not expect I ever will again as I frequently rebalance my body with bio-energetics. I guess that is a perk of owning the equipment!
