These thoughts kept me awake July 30, 2016 3:30 to 5 a.m. Resisting, lying in bed, knowing that the only way to return to sleep was to scribble these thoughts on paper.
Are you waiting for a sign from God? A burning bush? Are you waiting to hear God whisper, “Go forth with this opportunity and help My people?”
What IF God is waiting on you? Has He not given each of us the gift of discernment? The ability to listen, learn and decide whether something is inherently bad, or inherently good? Before discernment can be fully engaged, one must learn more. There are details to every lesson, every opportunity. Wisdom cannot be obtained without learning.
God uses ordinary people, such as house cleaners, pastor’s wives, CPAs, teachers, doctors and hockey players…the chance to become the best version of themselves. In doing so, they now have the lifestyle that allows them to help God’s people. It could be health…God desires most for people to live a life of happiness, and one that allows their bodies to heal, as He so divinely designed. Our nutrition line has proven over and over that it can help people feel good again.
Perhaps it is the wealth of a smart business plan…which could mean helping someone who questions how they will pay bills next month, build a multi million dollar business. It may be to use the wealth of a residual income opportunity to support a charity, feed the hungry, serve the sick, build domestic abuse shelters, or overseas…to get people out of tents and into solid, block homes in Haiti, or serve on global medical missions.
We are not born empowered. We grow into our power. Life is a journey. It is a gift that takes the gifts you already have…and I have seen gifts in every admirable person I have asked to consider joining my busines. Gifts are magnified to serve the Kingdom. Through personal growth, He takes your fears…and teaches you to TRUST in Him, and put other people ahead of selfish doubts.
While you wait on your sign, your burning bush, you may be missing the chance to live life on purpose. God does not call us to be ordinary, but has ordained each of us to do extra ordinary things for the Kingdom. We are simply a vessel, a vehicle that is allowing thousands of people to be extra ordinary in order to live a life of serving, as Jesus called us to do. It is not a fit for everyone. But what if, by not allowing yourself the hour of time it takes to learn more, you are missing the burning bush that God is already putting in front of you?
That was the message. Maybe you can relate. Maybe someone has asked you to look at their business opportunity, and you have given an excuse...perhaps putting it on God. What if that hour of time could be the catalyst to help you find your God given purpose? That is much more than a burning bush, that is a roaring fire...the licks the fringes and keeps on spreading...that your Light may shine forth.
Live life on purpose,
Rita
This video, by Prince Ea, was shared at our nation retreat this past Saturday. It was hugely impactful…life is short, right? Life should have no regrets.
