My family celebrated with us, including a brother from out of state. When we get together, we Weber's laugh A LOT! We took lots of pictures with the self-portrait area that was set up and I am sure they will slowly trickle in to my inbox. My sisters and I started it off, and of course the clown of our family, Paul, photo-bombed.
My siblings and I don't always agree with one another on all matters - but in all things love UNITES our family.
It is the same with the Shimniok side of the family, and I am certain the Rettenmund family is the same. My son married into a great family, and they can dance the night away! Children from all the families became instant friends...reminding us of how the world should be.
The room was filled with happiness ...an abundance of endorphins!
What makes you laugh? Do you get enough of it? Laughter truly is the best medicine. It has been shown that those who lack laughter in their lives experience more pain. It is important to figure out what makes you laugh and be purposeful in experiencing more of it in your life. Laughter does not come from material things, but from being with those you love - human or animal. It goes without saying, those who laugh a lot will die far happier than those who do not.
I think we can all agree we need more laughter in our lives, especially in these times.
