Yes! The two can co-exist!
Have you been on a wellness journey and are considering throwing it all “to the wind” for the next six weeks or so? Or are you steadfast and determined to continue eating healthy into the new year and stick with your newly found body that aches less, burps less, and carries less weight – because you have made dietary changes?
How many of you believe that healthy food cannot possibly taste good? What if I were to tell you that it is simply not true? This coming Wednesday I invite you to join me for the Wellness Wednesday Lunch Bunch sponsored by You Define Wellness at 12:30 pm central time. Myself and several other lifestyle and wellness coaches will offer insight and tips for getting through the holidays without compromising your health – and BOOSTING YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM – which is all important right now during this pandemic.
Holiday traditions can still be enjoyed with ingredient substitutions that still deliver mouth-watering goodness, or foodgasms…you know, when you eat something so good that your eyes roll back into your head and you utter a big "MMMMM" as you slowly chew and savor every bite!
Some of my very own recipe ideas I will sharing:
- Broccoli/cranberry salad - the dish I am always asked to bring to a family potluck
- Gluten free stuffing for your Thanksgiving bird
- Gluten-free and dairy-free grav
- Delicious sweet potatoes made without the high-glycemic and chemical-laden marshmallow cream, but tastes like candy!
- An elegant stuffed pear for dessert - shown above, and served with dairy-free whipped cream!
Tune in to hear what my friends Michelle Jolly of Healthy Horizons Coaching, and Kelly Haugh of Manifest Natural Wellness have to share as Denise O’Malley of You Define Wellness co-hosts with Stephanie Puza Lueras, owner of Heart and Sole Wellness.
I look forward to seeing you on the zoom call for the Wednesday Lunch Bunch! Be sure to follow the link to let us know you are joining us and get the information to join us!
In peace, light and love,
